If you can't afford it, you shouldn't be there to begin with. I hear the same stupid thing about tipping at restaurants. "Oh I'm poor, I can't afford to tip." You are taking up the person's time and energy (not to mention table/counter space since most of that is limited) and you KNOW that pretty much all the money they make will be from people like you tipping them. If you can't be bothered to pay them for their services, you should have gone to the liquor store, or ordered food to go, or gone to a fast food place instead where you could serve yourself. By not tipping you are basically saying "I don't value you, your time, or what you have done for me"
Everyone deserves a drink. You pay for a drink, you get it , you drink it and that's it. If y o u as bartender offer someone a drink you might have made his day, until you wanted a tip for pouring a drink.
Trust me , a happy person is better than a tip.
A generous tip is good but if ya don't have enough $$ just say hey thanks for the drink, you really know what you're doing I wish I could give u more but this is all I have. It's just courtesy:)
Trust me , a happy person is better than a tip.
