I agree with every one except for the last one. It's true, you don't need to be a size zero but it annoys me to no end when people are all like "lucky you, you can eat anything, you're super skinny" we'll guess what? I'm "skinny" because I eat healthy. And it's not just to "look good" it's to take care of your body and your health. Because obesity is something you CAN control (of course there are some medications that make you gain or loose weight) and obesity it's not funny and obesity should not be the problem that it is today. And I don't care if I get downvoted, this is my opinion and c'mon people! If you are overweighted, take care of your body! Your children will thank you when they don't have to wash your body and feed you all in the same bed.
No offense, but a lot of these things you CAN control. teeth=braces frizzy hair=flat iron eyes=contacts weight=less cookies. Only 2 you actually can't control (assuming the person is actually washing their face) is acne and nose.
If the person CHOOSES that its not worth doing any of those things, thats their deal and I've got no problem with it, but don't act like its some unfixable thing that they have no control over.
Being a size zero is a little unreasonable, not everyone has accessibility to dental and orthodontic services, flat ironing your hair is bad for it, and some people prefer glasses or can't afford contacts.
I'm pretty sure I can't do a thing for my brace. Because well.... How the fuck am I supposed to control it if my tooth is turned. (And I know you said brace as a solution but above it is considered as the problem)
I'm not saying a size 0 is perfect, the weight was more of a general thing, or that a flat iron doesn't hurt your hair. The post was talking about physical imperfections that people can't change. I'm just saying that many of those things listed CAN be changed. Having too big of a nose, can't change that without surgery. Too big of ears, can't change without some surgery. Freckles, can't really change without lots of makeup or surgery. Lots of acne, can't change assuming they wash their face regularly. You CAN change a lot of those other things. I'm not saying everybody SHOULD do them, in fact many of the things I wouldn't suggest at all, just saying they are something you could change if you really wanted to.
@shawol I wasn't really considering braces the imperfection, but rather a person with really crooked teeth w/o braces to be the imperfection. Braces would be the solution because eventually you'll have straight teeth and no braces.
