The Earth doesn't give a shit what we do. If we kill ourselves and everything else on the planet, the Sun will still rise and set and the Earth will still be here, forever turning in our Universe. We shouldn't want to change our ways because the "Earth" wants us to, we should do it because we will kill ourselves and everything else on the planet if we don't.
