I would like to respectfully disagree. It is my personal belief that as a parent, while you want your child to share your values, and have ever right to try to pass them on in anyway you can, children should be able to choose for themselves what they like or do not like. I'm not saying if you're child wants to be a "swaggot" let them go at it, I'm saying that if you teach them that things like kindness, humility, and honest are important, then you won't have to worry about them joining the "yolo"-ers or the Hashtags because they'll make good decisions for themselves. Then, your child will be happy because they're who're they are (instead of a smaller version of you) and you will be happy because they're developing they're personality and who they are as a person.
