I'm trying. I'm trying all I can. It's my family who refuses to change anything. It's awful. That woman, though.. Gosh, she's annoying.. You wisely use your time and resources to take care of all of your top problems.
The reason people assume he is right is because he has built the reputation to prove it, he didn't like to us when he taught us through his videos now did he? And to the liberal left comment, I'm pretty sure CNN is considered a liberal network so your comment falls flat on its face there.
Regardless of whether or not global warming is a real concern for humanity, I really don't see the point of dumping billions into stopping it at this point. It will happen regardless, so how about instead if fighting time, we prepare?
The world will balance herself out at some point, she always does.
It won't "happen regardless". /We're/ causing it, and we need to stop what we're doing and reverse the damage before it's too late. In many ways, it's already too late.
So all of humanity can just band together, destroy millions of industries, flip society on its head, and that will somehow stop wildfires, regular fires, and volcanos, breathing, and solar fluctations?
All without destroying the livelihoods of billions/ lives of hundreds of millions?
You're being ridiculous. We're looking at drought, famine, increased poverty, and war if the earth keeps heating up. All we need is to be responsible. Find new ways to do things. Take care of the planet we live on and realize we can't just do what we are and expect no consequences.
Poverty, war?
Please explain what you believe would be more responsible.
Also, as I said before, the earth has gone through several heatings and coolings for billions of years BEFORE humanity came along.
But it's heating at a much faster rate, now that we're dumping so much carbon into the air. Using alternative energy sources, turning off the lights, carpooling, taking public transportation, cutting down on meat consumption, not wasting paper, planting trees... All of these things can help. And yes. Poverty and war. The heating earth will destroy (and is destroying) crops and water supplies. No resources = no money, no food, no water. Whatever's left will be fought over. The US owns most of the world's fresh water, so I'm sure you can guess where they're going first.
What alternative energy sources would you suggest?
What does meat consumption have to do with anything?
You also seem to forget that the US has a lot of allies and has, arguably, the greatest military of the era.
Solar is becoming a much more viable option. There are also ideas for magnetic generators floating around. The meat industry contributes more to air pollution than even cars do. It uses far more land than what's sustainable. It takes a lot of land and water to feed animals we raise for food. And if our allies want our water, guess who's not going to be friends anymore.
famous one, you are an uneducated defeatist, "oh this earth is screwed oh well, lets get a new one" maybe look at some FACTS and do some RESEARCH before you continue to despoil my and your home.
