They made a deal with Amazon concerning the kindle and the e-book craze. They got shafted and had to close down a lot of stores. I remember going there to look at all the books and pick one up to buy if it was interesting enough.

Where I used to live there were no Barnes & noble only borders, so when they closed down the entire island had no place to shop for books.

Go to Portland, Oregon. There is a 9 story book store called Powell's books. It has a cafe and other stuff. It's a book nerd's paradise
