I looked through these pictures 4 times and was getting ready to say the exact same thing. His arms look about the same size as my wrists. That's heartbreaking, and kind of makes me realize how much I take for granted every day.
G, working in hospice, I'm sure his last days were made to be as loving as possible. It takes a special person to work with the sick and dying. I'm sure he was surrounded in positivity until the end.
Oh lord, yes, Hospice is amazing! I've had 2 extraordinary experiences with Hospice centers and cannot sing their praises enough. I meant it's heartbreaking that he was on the streets, homeless and sick prior to that. Who knows what the circumstances were, but homelessness and sickness tend to go hand in hand and I find that distressing. Most hospitals only allow service animals, so this man definitely ended up in the right place.
Now just take a moment to realize that dogs took both their best and their worst from humanity.
