...... it sucks worse when the town you're in is full of people who love sorts and only talk about sports OR even if they are geeks they haven't even watch the show.

This is actually me right now trying to cope with the fact that I only have two more episodes before David Tennant regenerates, and none if my friends have watched Doctor Who

I feel this so strongly. Like, NONE of my friends read!! And if they do, they don't read the same books as me. My sister is the only one who reads SOME of the books I do. I suffer in my fandom-for-one worlds.

Is anyone else getting really annoyed with these posts? I get it, you read, big deal.

I'm just tired of hearing about the same teen lit over and over again. I'd love nothing more than to be able to discover new authors from people on FS, but I feel like I wouldn't be able to take any suggestions seriously.

I'd definitely have to agree with you on this.

Believe it or not, but I agree with you, as well, mgoveia. I'm tired of hearing people say they've read Divergent or the Maze Runner and think that these books are obscure. These are the classic, teen-hipster books that if you've read, you must be cool. I'd rather people read different books that society doesn't tell them to read or they feel pressured to read.
