Honestly? I feel like TFIOS is just like Twilight: a novel focusing on a love story, that moved way to quickly, is predictable, has a trgaic end and is in no way, a masterpiece. So I don't get why everyone is obsessed with it. It's not that good, just a boring, tragic and predictable love story, just a teeny tiny bit better than twilight, but still at most a novel for love hungry people.
"love hungry people"
You just described everyone ever. That's why everyone's obsessed with it. That doesn't mean it's good (I haven't read it yet, so I can't give my personal opinion), but it does explain why it's popular.
TFiOS actually has a plot that makes sense though, unlike twilight where the main character tries killing herself several times just to see her sparkling boyfriend. I think the real reason TFiOS is so popular and liked is because people can relate. My sister had cancer when she was younger, so I can see why she loves the book. In the end, it all comes to preferences, so you can not like it, but don't bash others for being obsessed with it
I don't understand the craze over it either. I just don't like how every girl my age acts like it's the best book in the entire universe, and if you don't like the book, or want to read it you're stupid. But hey, I don't have to agree with the mainstream opinion. So read it or don't. But don't make other people feel bad for not reading it. And vice versa.
I've had enough of this shit. People need to STOP TALKING ABOUT TFIOS ON THIS SITE. It's pissing me off!! I already here about it a crap-ton at school. It's too much
Just because you don't like it doesn't mean no one can talk about it remember it's extremely popular and me and my fellow fangirls won't just shut up because some people don't like tfios
That is true but nothig keeps you from respecting someone else's opinion neither. I, for instance, really looked forward to reading the book, but all the spoilers on here kind of ruined this for me.
