Ok, I'm a straight christian guy, and I'm fine with gay people. But when people start hating on Christians because we don't believe being gay, that's screwed up. Most of us don't even hate on gays, we just aren't gay. I guess it's just the popular thing to do to hate on straight people, because a small percentage of us aren't tolerant of other people's life choices.

Hi five to thatoneguy, it's like reverse racism in a way, people hating on white people because they are "racist"

So thatoneguy, you're fine with gay people but would hate to have a gay child (as you quoted in a post above)? How does that work? Genuine question, not looking for a fight! And I agree with you..not all Christians are nasty gay haters..but unfortunately some are.

Well, if my kid were to turn out gay, I'd be pretty bummed out because I wouldn't be able to relate with him as well. I'd still be accepting of his choice, but I'd rather him be straight.

And if I had a daughter, I wouldn't be able to scare her boyfriends away, and then it's no fun lol

Thanks for answering although not sure what you mean by not being able to relate. They're still a human..you're a human.. oh and my dad had a lot of fun scaring my girlfriends! Thankfully one stayed around and is now my wife!

Look I'm sorry but I've seen this post on this site so many times really it's just all too irritating... I'm sorry it's really nice seeing people standing up for what they want but please I think a lot of us would appreciate it if we could stop re posting the same pictures that push the FS family further and further away:) sorry and enjoy your day.

Start your own site called social justice substance and keep your drama and intentional conflict out of our comedic relief. That is my translation of Durell's statement, and I agree with him. Many if us come here to avoid the conflict in our everyday lives.

Not necissarily that, you see it's just it sparks a lot of fued here and we are a very diverse family. I mean some users HATE other users and go on dislike rampages just to spite people. Opinion is great and all but I miss the FUN in funsubstance and if the creators saw what I'm saying they might agree...

I don't see why it should start feuds - this is just an entertaining post that raises interesting questions, which is the best type of joke.

This isn't a joke.... It's a statement.

If gods real, would YOU want to piss him off. Religious or not, why not take the safe bet? Eternity in hell, or living slightly annoyed that you call it civil union instead of marriage? Weigh your options people.
