Look at the way he fall, he deliberately refrains from taking a step.
Nonetheless, it looks stupid...
Maybe they wanted to make the burst out laughing so he'd forget to make the save or something

No, it was an accident. If you watch his right foot, you can see that he stepped wrong and got caught on it.

The guy who fell was another distraction if you haven't watched the whole thing. The guy with the hand band on the right of the falling player is the shot taker. :\
