Well you are a fucktard. Good parenting or not kids will sometimes do stupid things. It's bound to happen. There is however a problem if incidents happen frequently. But raise your kid perfectly, he WILL someday do something stupid. And that's where "kids will be kids" is to be applied : if your kid is well-mannered and shit, there's no reason to go ape-shit on the first step he puts out of line.
Thank you. As a mom, it drives me insane when I have to tell another mom that her kid is being a little shit (like throwing rocks at cars), and they just say, "kids will be kids". It's usually the parents of demon children who actually say this, or at least that has been my experience.
It's call don't give your kid every fucking it wants and/or give it rewards for everything it does or it will grow up doing nothing if it doesn't get anything for it, praise on the other hand is good.
Bartering seems like a good idea at the time keeps both parent and child happy but as it gets older there will be no such thing as doing anything helpful from the kindness of your child's heart...
Trust from a young single mother now going on 30 with a 12 year old child... Grandparents helped raise which was bad, having a hard time.
But now I'm pregnant again 12 years later with a man who has two children of his own, I've been with him for 6 years and happy and both vowed we would learn from our mistakes with this new one. :)
