July 4th is apparently 2 days long

I'm American and I was not aware of this...

On my street we had fireworks the week BEFORE and they're still happening.

Thought that was just in my neck of the woods... Still hear fire crackers, day 3

My birthday is the 4th of july

It's actually sad because America is far from freedom

In Utah we can light fireworks like 4 days before and 4 days after the 4th of July, which I personally hate because it detracts from the 4th, but on top of that, we have Pioneer Day on the 24th and light fireworks then too (it's a state holiday).

Americans and their freedom... :)
