Cuz even if you die the tattoo doesn't fuckin disappear. There are mummies thousands of years old and they still have tattoos. And also, technically nothing is permanent, except for matter, which can't be created or destroyed. Before the big bang all matter existed within a singularity by the way. And since matter is permanent, so is everything. Goddamn I should go to sleep before I turn into jaden oh my god..

Because we have seven layers of skin and they inject the ink into the layers we don't shed. We only shed the first and second layers I believe.
