For whatever reason, I type words with the "u" fairly often. Sometimes I go back and change it, others, I'm feeling lazy and just leave it. I always wonder if there's some FSer out there whom I'm driving crazy as they try to figure out just who the hell I am.
And still using the English system instead of metric system ugh. I have a textbook (for an Australian chemisty uni course) and they only explain the metric system and just presume you know the English system. Pain in the behind
Okay ha, let me re-explain. America is one of very few countries that still uses the English system. They have created a textbook which is to be distributed world-wide amongst country that have never used the English system, yet only give instructions on how to use the metric system (which the other countries already know). My point is it's annoying that they're holding onto the English system when it makes less sense and is a lot harder for everybody else to work out, especially considering that other countries use a lot of info from America.
honor - honour
Canada does proper spelling, too.
im referring to the fact that american spells it all different than every other english speaking country
i was confused, as i thought it was the other way round
