Actually, messi didn't really helped out that game. Lavezzi had a great first half, and Argentinas defense played an awesome game. In other words I disagree with the post.

I thought mascherano was better than him all tournament. Messi has moments of brilliance that can change a game but mascherano was the brains behind their entire structure. Also, changing lavezzi for aguero was probably the worst decision of the tournament

Yes! I was so confused, why would you take out your only player pressing, running and creating chances up top. I would have put in aguero for higuain instead... Messi is so lazy tho, wonderful player, but lazy.

And because in general Americans don't know much about "soccer" than other nationalities were the sport is more popular. not insulting stereotype, just saying.....

I'm American and I know A LOT about soccer, but it is true most Americans think soccer is stupid and weak when really it's a really physical sport.
