sure if you're the fucking popular kid. But for some of us, college represents a fresh start withthe types of people we'e never seen before, somewhere we can actually begin to find people that, if not understand us, at least TALK to us. Some of us don't care what we look like on the first day of school and are willing to work as hard as neccessary to get grades, and are okay with our grades slipping a bit anyway because that's a fact of life as you move up in the world, shit gets harder. You might be that person who had lots of friends, freedom, and were given money from your parents in highschool, but that weird kid in the corner who nobody ever talks to, whose friends all left her at the beginning of highschool, who goes to the Councillor weekly for someone to talk to? Yeah, she's relying on college to finally find people who she hopes will at least do her the courtesy of talking to her, of realizing she exists.
And you really don't fucking help her situation.
*hugs the fuck out of the Guest*
When I went to College, I pretty much just sat alone in the courtyard between classes because I didn't know anyone and I wasn't used to meeting people. Until one of the guys from my Trig class talked me into joining him and a bunch of his bud's to hang out in one of the rec rooms. Since then, those nuts have been helping me get through tough courses, helped me get my shit together so I could afford my classes AND have been better friends than I ever had in High School. I know how you felt, and all I can say is that I'm sorry you didn't go to my college. I would have loved to introduce you to my lovable morons when you needed it.
