It's common accepted knowledge that children have to do what there parents tell them. Your parents affect a great part of you whether it's for the better or for the worse. They're not forcing there beliefs, (usually) most of the time they're just teaching their child the way of world the best way they know how.

nerdfighter, would you also say that to the millions of religious people raising their child with their beliefs?

Okay fellow guest, my parents gave me a choice, they told me to not follow the religion because they are, but because I want to. I chose to follow the belief. Not sure if other parents do that, and I'm not saying parents have to do that, but I appreciate my parents for giving me a choice

thats the same with me, I was given a choice as soon as I was old enough to independently make that choice
