Actually the male mosquitos don't make this annoying sound. That's another difference between the male and female mosquitos. When I see a mosquito in my room I always check first if they make noises before I kill it because I then know if it stings or not :)

I hate mosquitoes... my friend's niece just died of dengue T_T she's just a 2 year old girl :((((

Actually I've read in several biology books that the male sucks blood for the female.... I could be wrong

I'm lucky. Never have I ever been bitten by a mosquito. They don't like me.
