I agree with this post ... I hate it when if you're passionate over things like your beliefs, your views, your dream to help other people, your life ambition to become a teacher, a nurse, a missionary, a care-taker of the elderly, or an assistant for disabled people, people just look at you like you're crazy or say be realistic or laugh at you and say to get a real job.
And yet when you're passionate over sports, go to all the games, know every player by name, scream and paint your faces and celebrate when "your" team wins, but if they lose, you get mad and depressed and even dangerous, and wanting to be a sports player in the future is smiled upon and encouraged. I mean, with kids, it's okay, it IS just a game, but adults these days ...
It's also sad that most sports players are paid more then most of the other jobs above. And it's considered a real job.
Some people are that passionate about things that matter...but then when they show that passion they are berated because someone doesn't agree with them and thinks its their place to tell them how wrong they are

We choose to be passionate about things you deem stupid or for no reason to escape the reality of being told what matters to us rather than us telling ourselves what matters. Also, I can guaranteed you have something you're passionate about that isn't viewed as important by others.
