Leg cramps, especially Charley horses, will prevent you from being able to run. It's almost like pulling a muscle.

This is one reason why I love and play hockey. The toughest sport. I remember when some dude tried to break my finger, was pretty close to it, my coach wanted to bench me but I skated anyway. All the boys on my team were saying "how dare he hit her" that player goes home with a badly bruised leg. Hockey brings people together and strengthens.
