If we ban guns, sooner or later we'll be banning knives, pens, pencils, forks, really anything that can be used to cause harm. Do you know how many things that is? Who knows, they might even ban teeth and finger/ toe nails. You'll be forced to report to a clinic and have your teeth and nails pulled or be incarcerated for refusing. A society can't really function without those items.
