I understand the whole safety aspect of speed limits, but I don't get why cars are made to go so fast, if you're hardly going to ever get the chance to fully enjoy the speed.

There are public tracks where you can go and push your car as much as you want

Fast is a relative term. Carlover never said anything about equally fast.
