Didn't he not really know English when he did the first Rush Hour and they had to feed him his lines? Or something like that.

Well it's not his first language. I'd say the accent and short phrases are actually part of his charm

Well, it's definitely not a knock against him! I doubt I would be able to do a movie in another language. Heck, I couldn't do one in English.

Apart from Marvel movies, Jackie Chan movies were also movies that I would gladly sit and watch the credits

I thought "FRREEEEZE!" said "FEBREZZEE!" and I imagined that his gun sprayed some some wonderful kind of flower smell.
