My mom actually said that. She was like "overprotective parents have really sneaky kids" and I had to stop myself from glaring at her because she's overprotective. She has no idea of half the stuff that goes on in my life

Not necessarily strict parents- alcohol is forbidden for Muslims.

How do you define strict? I'm considered a strict parent among my peers with children, but my daughter comes to me with everything. She openly tells her friends that I'm her best friend, but we have very clearly defined rules in our house.

I mean, there's strict, like, rules strict(if they're reasonable then it's ok) but then there's strict like enforcing every single action that you do(I know parents like that)

This is a young Muslim boy (check out the girl's Khimar) who was taught that alcohol is sinful, thus, shielding his face from it. He's adorable :)
