I sort mine by series, color, and size

I sort mine by series, but I am running out of room so my book shelf looks like a mess.

Each shelf has it's own genre; the top being my favorite and bottom being my least favorite. Then I organize them by authors last name.

By author name

Mines by color and how much I like them, like I have a fav shelf with HP and Thg etc on itt

Alphabetically by author then chronologically.

Mine is colour coordinated and each colour is organised in to height order and any extra random books are height and or colour.

Mine's arranged by subject then by personal significance; and catalogued by title & author's name.

I sort my books depending on how ocd I am at any particular time. When things are going well and I feel normal I stack books, like the photo. When I'm ocd I sort by subject (anthropology, biology, chmmistry, etc.), then author. I change it up all the time.
