Could someone identify those guns for me? I don't think they're actually legal to own, but I can't look them up to double-check because I can't identify them. Is it just me, or do they look like video game models?
I am a shooting enthusiast and I cannot identify these, the second May be some variant of a Kalashnikov. They are likely all video game or Hollywood models.
The only reason Kinder Eggs are illegal is because of a 1930's FDA regulation. It says that nothing can be INSIDE food. Kids would be smart enough to not swallow these, but they can't import them because of this rule.
I'm sure I'll get disliked for this, but actually they aren't all that good. Like $2 for just a little chocolate and a piece of garbage.
Yeah, they're fun and all and the chocolate is nice, but the toys used to be super fun to make when I was little. From the kids I see today it's just a little trinket that sits around and does nothing. Poor non-90s kids. And 90s American kids.
I live in the UK and we have them with no warnings I think.
I buy my neice and nephew one pretty much every weekend, and they're like 60p (not sure how that translates to $)
I cannot remember the last time I heard of someone choking on any part of these.
If any FSers in America would like a kinder egg hit me up.
Im serious, first five people who ask get a free kinder egg.
I'll pay postage and everything. If its not illegal of course (even if it is).
There doesn't need to be a warning label on them. They are quite obviously packaged so that a child wouldn't happen to swallow the entire plastic yellow egg inside (different story for the pieces in the egg, but not important). Its not a matter of "lol American kids so dumb they'd swallow the plastic" its that it used to be kind of a big thing to put "prizes" into baked goods (possibly originated from over in Europe?). Such as putting a coin somewhere in a cake. If you didn't know it was a special cake, you would probably just bite right into a slice of it given to you, if there happened to be some hard coin or toy in it, it would hurt like hell to bite and possibly seriously injure you. Rather than deal with the lawsuits and problems, the FDA straight out banned ALL food with non food items enclosed inside. Doesn't matter how obvious or labeled it is, if it is completely enclosed (such as with an egg shaped chocolate layer) then its illegal.
Those guns are from a fucking video game. If we made assault rifles illegal, it would be the same thing that happened with drugs. People would still get their hands on them
