Netball is only the best sport ever! Popular in New Zealand, Australia and England, netball is similar to basketball except you can't move with the ball, and players are only allowed in certain areas of the court.

as a netball umpire, I get yelled at and mocked so much by parents. What I don't understand is the parents who yell at me have girls playing on the court who are the same age as me. They wouldn't yell at their own daughter for making an error of judgement, and they wouldn't appreciate it if someone else yelled at their daughter, so why do they do it!?!?!?!

Sports mums -.- they can be as bad as like theatre mums sometimes -.- I'm not like hating on them but it's like their kid doesn't get first and they lose the plot, I've seen it so many times at sports and drama competitions and my mum is like you did win but you did amazing!

Wow that's really sad that you as an umpire get mocked:( they have signs similar to this where I play and most umpires are respected and highly trained. It's a shame parents have to ruin the game by yelling. even though I have played highly competitive conpetition for 5+ years and I have only come across one or two parents like that but they were talked to to stop.

We have this in my hockey club but seeing as we are in Australia the final one says..... We are not playing for sheep stations
