Because it's vital to the story that a villain has power, in such a setting the villain has social power, so a nerdy villain wouldn't work.

I think it is because the majority of people want to root for the ones they can relate better with lol. There was an episode of 30 Rock where Liz Lemon goes to her high school reunion and finds out all the popular people in addition to everyone else hated her because she was a really mean nerd.

I am, honestly, I would scalp you just for fun, then keep the hair skin thing, dry it out and use it as a plate................. And doctor who is a big inspiration to me
