Large families do not "rock". By having so many children you increase population more than you think and put unnecessary strain on the environment. Stick to one or two children if you plan to have any or better yet, just adopt. It's called having logic. In fact, the only large families that are good are the ones that adopt many children and actually take care of them.
Hm, no, I'm sorry. Maybe you have your reasons to think like that, so stick to that.
I live in a family of six members, its kinda high on today's standars.

I seriously doubt that living in a family of six members are high on today's "standars". The reasons that I have opposing the idea of large families stem from common sense and logic.
You have every right to be sorry. Apology accepted.
No actual reply then, I gather. No real response? Well, you did make the right decision, I suppose. Not arguing is your best bet when you're wrong. Good choice.
Oh sigh. This is a matter of life choices. I don't think you are one to talk about "arguing" because to make a proper discussion, you need to not to be so narrow. I said maybe you have your reasons to believe that, I didn't told you wrong.
That's just what you think.

What I think is completely correct. You may think I'm "narrow" but "narrow" people don't aim to help reduce global warming and try and increase families saving money not having to spend it on even more children. I accept that, biologically, humans are designed to reproduce but there is a reason that we have less offspring than a lot of other species. Humans consume a lot more than most species and when there is more of us, we put an unimaginable amount of strain on the environment. This isn't a "suit yourself" kind of debate, it's about taking a utilitarian approach on the actual factors of having many children and whether it is a good idea or not. Which it obviously isn't.
This is kinda like my mothers family. She has 5 sisters and 2 brothers. So they were with 8 kids too. The oldest and youngest were boys and are 19 years apart.. Imagine the very different kind of suffering they had to go through with 6 sisters..
And big families rock!
