That was always me. Reading out loud isn't easy for everybody. It was way more embarrassing for me than it was annoying for you. And usually people like me didn't volunteer to read out loud, it was the teacher making us.

Yeah, I never meant anything offensive by my comment. I just meant that, if you're not good at reading out loud than you shouldn't volunteer. It's an entirely different situation when the teacher forces you to read.

I have no problem with someone like this reading out loud, sure it was frustrating, but the way I see it, it's good practice and it may help them in the long run.

I really didn't care for reading out loud. I think the teacher liked it though because I read quickly and tried not to go to fast to where you couln't understand. Also, I spoke with a British accent.
