Not just the 90s, I did this with my GameBoy Advance in the 2000s and still sometimes with my 3DS

Born in 97, But did it in the early 2000s

Miss these days, now you have to reprogram things, bring it to a technician, and/or buy a new one(what they're hoping for)

Started with the original NES back in the '80s.
