Well there a was Puerto Rico thing. But also there was some underlying stuff for Cali splitting up.

Yeah I hear that Cali is so big they're debating separating into 3 states.

Part of Northern CA and Southern OR wants to turn into a small state called Jefferson, and then they would split Northern CA and SoCal into different states. People also want to make Puerto Rico, Guam, US Virgin Islands, Midway Islands, and a lot of other territories we have into states.

They wanted to split up California into more than three states, it made it onto some ballet but obviously got voted down because turning us into more than I think it was 6 different states didn't make any sense. Also as a California native I think it makes no sense to separate us because NorCal and SoCal contribute alot to the state as a whole, so separating us would just be like why?

Ugh. I had enough trouble drawing the flag in elementary school as it is. How are little kids gonna do the circle? If they're nitpicky like me, they're gonna have a bad time...

It's actually very easy. The middle star forms 5 arms in a star pattern, with 4 stars each. From there, you just fill in the blanks with 6 stars in a triangle shape.

Michigan's northern peninsula wants to be a separate state as well, many states are going crazy
