I think its implying there's a crazy amount of smog in China,and its so bad that people have to wear masks.

Well didn't Mulan save china? So then is is going and implying that China is heavily polluted and loads of smog causing people to have to wear masks. The pollution is probably destroying China which she saved so yeah.

He is trapped in a zoo, in the lion section. Can you see that the walls in the back are pictures? It's kinda hard to see with the lighting.
