Where I'm from in Canada it is literally reserved as a women's sport in the summer. I've never seen anyone play it who didn't wear a skirt while playing

OH MY GOD! IM SO ANNOYED RIGHT NOW! I'm American, not Canadian, probably distantly, but I'm a girl and I play hockey. When old people ask me if I play sports and I reply with hockey, they're like. "I played field hockey back in my days!" And I'm like GAHHHHHHH FIELD HOCKEY CAN JUST HANG ITS SELF!
