i am in this kind of situation right now ... i used to talk to my female friend through a shared account ... and every time his boyfriend shows up, we fight ,,, every time ... it is absolutely annoying

It shows that they've given up their own identity and you'll never have a conversation with just them ever again. They're in a codependent relationship with no trust and it will bite them in the ass later.
