They should probably give those little foxes one of those coats. It's cold outside!

Hunters don't hunt mothers when pups are too young to take care of themselves: That's only when they become pests. Poachers hunt foxes out of season. Most of the fur is farmed as in breed for it. Foxes aren't that "loyal" to their mates.

Good point, but I do believe that many users (including me) still feel that it is wrong to kill animals just to make a fashion statement.

Yeah, it doesn't matter how or when they are killed, but leather and fox skin and things like that are awful

What's so bad about leather? It comes from beef cows anyway, would you rather the skin was just thrown out to rot?

The only citation in that article is a link to pretty much the same article on a another website. The other article pretty much states that is IS a byproduct of meat, it's just about the mistreatment of cows in another country.

Fair enough, but is really alright to just say, 'oh, we are killing this animal for it's meat, so why not take it a step further and use it's skin for something we really don't need'? and yes, there are places that solely raise cows for leather (even if the link I picked wasn't the best). Also, leather isn't solely cows, animals such as crocodile and horses are also used to make leather

I seriously doubt there are many places that raise cows just for leather, it's just not good business, pretty much every part of a beef cow has some use and is sold on.
