My first flight I was 10(ish) and my mom was happy Bc we were moving to good old usa and the only thing I remember was me turning to my mom and saying 'we are gonna fly and we will die' and we hit turbulence a bit later and my mom looked at me as if I was possessed or something. Haha.
I've still never flown. I'm terrified of turbulence. I'm flying to New York in May. I'm most likely going to be sobbing, clutching the armrest and/or clutching the arm of the nearest passenger and trying to find my happy place
I've gotten used to planes, travelling back and forth every year from Canada to Turkey, then back. By the time the flight reaches what I call "air car mode" that's exactly what it feels like. It feels like you're on land and not in the air. It just feels like a really big bus and a really long road trip. (Of course, that's international travel. I have no idea how long your flight will be, but generally speaking, short flights are over before you realize it, almost like inter-city car rides.)
I have been flying unaccompanied since I was five about 8 times a year and I'm honestly happiest when I'm in the air. It's beautiful and wonderful (especially at sunrise/sunset).
I remember my first flight, I was glued to the window for 3 hours.
Good for them.
AND GET INVESTIGATED BY THE FBI
