I'll never understand people who say books are boring, like excuse me? Books are like full length movies in your head except you get to imagine how everything looks

And you can pause and restart whenever you want. Plus instead of waiting for the movie or episode you can just read the book and be ahead of the game!

Also you can see the readers thoughts unlike a movie or episode. You get more attached because they have such intricate personalities in a book

And books get much more in depth. Kind of like what ladyderphina said. Movies are never long enough to get all the detail and background and intricacy that a book gives.

You don't understand why books are boring? Here's why. Books are boring because most books being released nowadays are all mystic and magic as well as super fictional. For some reason my generation was tought that realism is key in everything so much so we ruin movies and video games by making it more realistic. Especially video games, want to know why COD sucks? Because the graphics need to look good. My generation was taught looks and appearence is everything. Books are boring because they're long, movies take maybe 2 hours where as books take 2days or 2weeks. We need people who hate reading books to write books because they'll know what to write for the people who hate reading. Sorry for a bible of a paragraph^

Don't get me wrong, I like reading the occasional book, but TV shows can be thought provoking too. I've spent hours thinking about ideas put for on shows like Doctor Who and Person of Interest, among others. Both mediums have their benefits and downfalls.
