I remember I had to do something like this for mom to transfer her pictures onto the computer.

I basically had to do this for my family but with the DVD player, the wii, the xbox and the VCR and I had to give them detailed instructions on how to plug in different cords and work the remote...my last words were "plug in the red one not the blue"
