But, what happens if you discover that you really didn't receive a new order. You either have to stick with a heavily salted dish, or you have to complain to your waiter/waitress *shudder*
Thats....the whole point
.
Do you really want to eat that dish that you found a bug/hair/etc. on sent back to you? Or would you rather have one social interaction with your server to get it fixed.
One time I went out with my family and it was going okay no problem until my uncle (whos a manager in a different resturaunt branch) received his beef and wasn't happy with the temperature. He wanted to get a new one because he also thought it was too dry. He asked the nice waitress to ask the chef to replace the beef and that the vegetables were fine. When he got the plate back he thanked the waitress and after finishing the first piece he saw underneath, the original piece with a hole in the middle where the thermometer was inserted. He wasnt happy and he cut a square around the hole and ate the vegetables before leaving his plate for the waitress to take in. I thought it was gas :'D
Have you ever worked in a kitchen? If you get a new order or the same one back it doesn't matter, it's gonna have spit in it.
Think the guy making minimum wage in a sweltering kitchen gives a fuck?
