A university cares more about their reputation than you

Also there was a story within the last month or 2 of a young woman who is carrying her mattress around as her art project...she was raped by a boy in her room and the university did nothing. The mattress is representative of the weight rape victims have to carry with them each day. I think good on her for bringing awareness and not staying silent!

Because as implied in the post, you have to know who to go to when you need help. Common sense would tell me to go to the closest source of help, but not everyone is looking out for you.

Comments like this remind me that people forget that rape is sex without consent. It doesn't always mean there force involved, taken advantage of a drunk girl is legally also rape.

And idolizing victimhood is why people aren’t willing to look at a situation honestly. Just because it’s illegal doesn’t make it wrong. It’s based on each individual situation.
