Can you ever find the words after that, like what if you write something with the wrong pen??

The paper will inevitably show traces of the pen tip that can be revealed using advanced imagery.

That's a gel pen, like the pilot ones which don't make an indentation unless you are writing against a hard surface like a desk instead of a book

So it doesn't touch the paper at all?

It does but it'd take a seriously good eye to see where it did

Yes, but I was speaking of "advanced imagery". That doesn't include the human eye.

You really think a teacher in some high school is going to use advanced imagery to see if the student actually did write something on his test paper?

Well, not really. The whole point is that the ink appears at first, so the person thinks they are writing everything fine. They might not realize when it disappears 48 hours later.
