I think the issue with women, is that there is the fear their lives may be threatened if the Man gets too aggressive. Wasn't there a guy upset because she didn't acknowledge him, in the women's version?

I am not going to pretend that rape and fear is not something a woman doesn't have to deal with but in all fairness. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2013870/Robber-broke-hair-salon-beaten-black-belt-owner-kept-sex-slave-days-fed-Viagra.html

I think that people have different definitions of be ing harassed, and I know that some people would definitely call that harassment.

I agree because in the female version some asked how her day is and I didn't see it as harassment. I don't know if it's because in big cities it has the intent of sexual things or what.

That is still harrassment but he just doesn't feel threatened because he's a bigger guy but for women who are biologically smaller and weaker it's a lot different.

as a woman, I totally agree that men get it too but for some reason they can't complain about it like we can. and I am the only one who gets annoyed as hell when a woman complains? "OMG that guy said I was hot! rude!" bitch i would kill for a guy to say that to me

okay, no one followed him for 5 minutes down the street, no one made him feel unsafe. As horrible as catcalling is for him, he should not try to compare this to what a woman goes through. I live in NYC and at the tender age of 12 I started to have men tell me that i have a 'nice ass' while i was with friends, alone, and even with my parents. The girl asking for his number does not follow him after he ignores her, she just says alright and walks away. I think its sad that men try to compare this to what women have to go through with cat calling. I am NOT saying that this isnt an issue, but i dont think they are equal.

I wouldn't say it's all the same because it isn't. It's like putting a bug group of diverse people together and saying we have the same lives don't be racists! Because though they share the same basics, sexual harassment is unique to each person because of their body type and size.

Why are the quoting harassment? It's not something to take lightly regardless of gender.
