There is truth in what you're saying, but using it out of context will further stigmatise homosexuality especially when it is still being used to insult someone.
I'm not advocating for using this kind of language but remember when saying something is gay just ment stupid and had no ties or references to homosexuality?
Actually, Swag means, "Secretly we are gay." Developed by Homosexual men in the 1950's to let men that they were romantically interested in know that they were gay, available, and interested.
