Why working at home is not a good idea when you have cats

I wish that would happen in sims. Like you got your gamer/nerd/geek on his computer, and his cat leaps onto the desk and sits on the keyboard, and you have an option to shoo it away, ignore it, or turn off the computer and play with it.
