Science without engineers

And why would that be a problem? Untill 200 years ago, physicists were called nature philosopher's, in Germany you sometimes still get your "Dr. Phil. Nat." Which is just that.
I'm a Physicist and consider myself an experimental philosopher.

Even with engineers, science is still pretty much a philosophy as there are so many questions that can not and never will be answered.
