Haha question: how do babies know to hold their breath when they are being baptized?

I believe it has to do with how long they spent in the womb not really having to breath, so when they feel the familiarity of being surrounded by liquid stuff (like in the womb) they think they don't really need to breath

How long are you held under when being baptized ? I only remember seeing my sister have it done and that's a faint memory along with a rumor that they baptized you in a fish tank.

Just a few seconds. For little babies they usually just scoop water onto them but once you get older they baptize you in a tub like pool.

Nobody finds it weird that we stick children's head in oil or chlorinated water? No one?

These are the same people who get mad if you don't go somewhere every week but when you do bad stuff on any other day they don't care.
