It doesn't really matter what we think, she's rich and famous (for people liking her music or famous b. She gets hated on so much, either way she's famous)
She's actually a pretty good person. She performs for sick kids at hospitals. Say what you want about her music, and how much she makes, but overall, she's a pretty good person.
Who cares how much she generates a year with everything else. If I worked as hard as she did, I would like to be paid as much as I deserved for all my work no matter how much I earned with other things. It's pure logic… And it's not like she completely removed all of her music from the internet.
I honestly think she shouldn't have done that. It's not because I think she's selfish or greedy or whatever, it's because I don't think she even considered how her fans, or anyone who likes her music, would react. There are tons of people who can't afford to buy the actual product and might need to use apps like spotify or pandora just to listen to any song they can't afford to buy. Removing her music makes her seem greedy and like she doesn't care about the fans who can't afford to buy the full album. It also makes it seem like she's only in it for the money, like she doesn't care about the music itself. I'm a huge fan of this band that started in 2011 and has been gaining a lot of fame lately and they don't care about the money. They directly told their fans during a live stream that they could illegally download their music if they couldn't afford it. One of the members even did so because he couldn't afford it. If Taylor really cares about her fans and the music, she wouldn't have+
+ taken it off spotify. If she's pulling out to support other artist, I understand. However, she needs to consider her fans. How are they going to listen to her music if they can't afford to buy it? Yes they could use a different app or YouTube, but that's beside the point. What if she pulled her music from every other music listening app? What if the only way people could listen to her music was to buy the album? She would lose fans because people would think she's selfish even though she's involved with tons of charities. I'm not a fan of Taylor as a person, but I do like her music and if I couldn't listen to it because I couldn't afford it, I'd be greatly upset.
If only there were some way to listen to music for free....and for it to be legal. Something using air waves and radio frequency....I don't know. Maybe you should look into this....
You can only hear certain songs on the radio, not the whole album. I am aware of converters. I was just trying to make a point. Plus, some people might not want to illegally download songs.
So who's really winning Taylor?
