Feminism DOES NOT equal irony. Judging a group of people by the idiots is exactly the same as judging a religion by the extremists. Feminism is not ironic, it is equality, and its not our fault that some people ruin the image.

Couldn't have said it better. The problem is, most of society DOES judge an entire group by the minority that give it a bad image. If we could all be a little bit more understanding, the world wouldn't be such a bad place to live.
It's not just that the minority is making the bad name for feminism, the minority is also the group that runs around more calling other pigs and sexist, AND they do more parades more often, only that they do shit parades (Were they run around calling others shit if they don't follow their beliefs or if they are what they are parading against, in this case, Feminist Extremist hate men, so if you don't hate men, or you are a man, you get shat on.). Also, I approve of equal rights. Just don't be a Feminist Extremist.
Ok i just wrote a post about this on a sort of same picture ...
I am a 14 year old guy and if this is what modern feminism is kill me before im 15 because i dont want to grow up in a world were "gender equality" is the same as when the snipers get nerfed on CoD (one party gets listened too and obeyed while the others opinion is worth SH*T)
I for one am tired of seeing posts on facebook, twitter and other places saying (and i qoute from a post on this site) "All men should die because they are pigs and our children dont need a rape instructor" when us men, us 'pigs' are a key ingredient to the fact that women and men exist....
Not to mention the fact that 'gender equality' means that women want to get paid the same as men even if they have a job in labor and lets say can only lift 10kg's and a guy can lift 50 in one arm and 50 in the other (just anexample)...
Modern feminism is not women thinking that men are pigs and rape instructors! Don't let yourself being influenced by those posts. They don't reflect the main opinion of women or feminists.
But, of course!, gender equality means to get paid the same for the same job because the problem doesn't concern job in labor but tertiary sector, service industry. Men and women provide the exact same work but women are less paid than men and you find this inequality in every grade! It's not acceptable in the XIXth century! (I think there is a difference in job in labor because workers might be paid according to their output, which is understandable).
Well if its in the tertiary section its understandable but that still doesn't mean modern feminists can treat men like they currently do does it ? anyway thanks ... you actually have your head the right way arround
1- this guy just landed a fucking space craft on a fucking comet and the thing people are focusing on is WHAT HE IS WEARING! LIKE CALM THE FUCK DOWN
2 - That girl wearing the shirt in the first picture is STILL BEING JUDGED FOR WHAT SHE IS WEARING - EVEN IF IT DOESN'T CONTAIN NAKED MEN
3 - And if that wasn't all - feminists reduced that poor guy - the guy who made a massive leap in space discovery - they reduced him to fucking tears. While he was trying to give an apology for the shirt
So yes, I consider myself a feminist. I believe that NEITHER of them should be judged for what they are wearing, as long as it follows the law, and believing in that EQUAL standard is what feminism actually means. This IS an accurate comparative photo set between two people, because both of them were judged for what they were wearing, from the opposite gender. This is why we need feminism. BECAUSE IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT HER SHIRT CONTAINS, IF SHE IS BEING JUDGED FOR IT THEN IT'S NOT OKAY.
No one is judging her but she A) didnt land a rover on a comet and b)wasnt reduced to tears by men trying to defend their rights because then 'femenists' come along and they would reduce him to tears too ...
i mean if femenism in some cases means a women can literally tell all men to die because 'their children dont need a rape instructor' and no one bats an eye THOSE (and i can not stress this enough not everyone just those who clearly think that gender equality gives them immortality as a side affect)shouldnt have the right to femenism
Oh and if you wear shirts that show 3 fourths of your boobs expect someone to stare and as i said , she was never judged a man just happened to loose eye contact to look at what she was clearly exposing
He is not THE guy who made a massive leap in a space discovery, he is one of those who work on the project which is noticeably different.
Unless being stupid, people can't (or they shouldn't) just remember the T-shirt thing. I assume we all know that he is a part of an unprecedented space project.
Nevertheless, we have to point out that his shirt is disrespectful for women not him. I'm not saying he did it on purpose. It's not the man that we should blame but the behavior. The situation could have been the same with a woman and raise the same controversy.
And when I'm saying to compare things that you can compare I mean that sexy clothes can't be compared with disrespectful ones.
OK first of all taking into consideration that was a present from a FEMALE artist friend of his ok 1) i don't see whats wrong with him wearing it and 2) a women in that position would be targeted or have raised controversy cause their is two possible outcomes {A}Men wouldn't care(remember im a guy) and look past the shirt, heck i didn't even notice it at first OR {B}One man would notice it, complain about it and be spammed with negative comments and be targeted by feminists cause like it says clearly in the pic, we shouldnt judge women on their clothes
